Picture of Health
I was planning on taking a nap after the game. I've been sick all week and had to be at traffic school at 7am this morning (more on that in the next post). However, after watching that horrendous performance I was too angry and hit the gym. Probably a good thing since I am in horrible shape. Health wise I'm probably one step above a coma patient right now. The frustrating part is I'm probably going to stay this way. My knee is wrecked, and is getting worse. I actually hurt it in the same fall I got my concussion with snowboarding. My head hurt so bad I didn't even really notice how much I hurt my knee. Once my head starting clearing up I realized I may have done some damage. I was just hoping it would go away. The last two weeks my stomach has been really jacked up. The urgent care doctor thought it may have something to do with all the Vicodin they had me take for the concussion. Although, I also think there’s a good chance I have an ulcer from all the stress at work. Probably a little bit of both. Well my stomach has been so bad that the knee got put on the backburner. But now it's getting to the point where I can barely sleep because it's hurting so much. The limp is cool and all, but it's also nice to be able to walk places. I would go to the doctor. Unfortunately my doctor just retired a couple of months ago. Gotta love the HMO. The doctors at the Urgent care are clueless. They are a bunch of schleps that aren’t good enough to have their own practices. So I can't see anybody until I find a new primary care physician. Hopefully, it will just go away. But I'm probably looking at an exciting summer of recovering from knee surgery. The good news is I can keep the limp for at least a little while longer. I will have to wait until my stomach clears up to do anything as there is no way I can take any pain killers now.
